It is a school famous for musically talented students, especially for those who play piano. On the first day of school, as he wanders through the piano building, he hears a mysterious melody being played that leads him to Lu Xiaoyu, another piano major. When he asks her about the song she was playing, she tells him that it is a secret that cannot be told. The two develop a relationship that is clouded in mystery. When Xianglun tells Xiaoyu of the demolition of the piano building on graduation day, she teaches him the song that he heard on the first day of school.
However, when a mis-passed note leads to Xianglun’s accidental kissing of another girl, Xiaoyu disappears for five months, only to return on graduation day and mysteriously disappear again. Xianglun asks around and discovers that Xiaoyu was actually a student from the class of 1979, who graduated 20 years ago. Xiaoyu time traveled to the present via a piece called “Secret” that she played on an old piano in the piano building. She had fallen in love with Xianglun, but the only barrier is that, in the present, the first person she sees on each trip is the only person that can see her.

When Xiaoyu was misled that Xianglun liked another girl, she returned to her time, 1979 for five months. During her absence, her story spread and everyone believed that she was crazy. Remembering that the piano room would be destroyed on graduation day of 1999, she tried time traveling to see Xianglun one last time, but was mislead once again that he liked another girl. Xiaoyu retreats back to her own time and died from an asthma attack, trying to communicate with Xianglun via writing on a desk with white out.

After finally learning of Xiaoyu’s story, Xianglun realizes that the piece that she taught him was “Secret”, which had the power to take the pianist forward or backward in time depending on the tempo at which it is played. He rushes off to the piano room, which is ready to be torn down. As the demolition begins, Xianglun begins “Secret” from memory, recalling something Xiaoyu told him while teaching him the piece: “I always play it that fast when I go back”. The last scene is when the 1979 Tamkang (Danjiang) Secondary School graduation picture is taken, in which Xianglun and Xiaoyu are present.
* 周杰倫 (周杰伦) Jay Chou (Zhou Jielun) as 葉湘倫/叶湘伦 (Ye Xianglun Jay): Music student majoring in piano and lives with his father.
* 桂綸鎂 (桂纶镁) Kwai Lun-mei (Gui Lunmei) as 路小雨 (Lu Xiaoyu Rain): Music student who lives with her mother.
* 黄秋生 (黄秋生) Anthony Wong (Huang Qiusheng or Wong Chau-sang) as 小倫爸爸 (Xianglun’s father): The discipline teacher of Xianglun’s school and his father.
* 曾愷玹 (曾恺玹) Alice Tzeng (Zeng Kaixuan) as 晴依 (Qing Yi Sky): The girl Ye Xianglun met when he joined Dangjian. Whether American viewers will respond with the enthusiasm of their Chinese counterparts remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that Mr. Chow’s notion of family is decidedly more Addams than Brady. A simple fairy tale — albeit with a perverseness that no Disney executive would permit — “CJ7” finds Mr. Chow in a Chaplinesque mood as Ti, an impoverished widower caring for his young son, Dicky (the 9-year-old actress Xu Jiao in her debut). By day Ti works long hours on a construction site to pay for Dicky’s elite private school; at night they return to a sweltering, cockroach-infested shack with unreliable electricity. Both suffer constant bullying: Ti’s overbearing boss (Lam Tze Chung) berates him for having ideas above his station, while Dicky’s fastidious teacher (Lee Sheung Ching) and snotty schoolmates treat him like a leper. Scouring the local dump one evening to supplement his son’s wardrobe, Ti discovers a strange green ball that, when placed in Dicky’s curious hands, transforms into a saucer-eyed creature resembling an ineptly groomed cockapoo. Filmed in the seaport town of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province, “CJ7” (the title is a reference to the Chinese space program) has an airy widescreen look that counters the privations of Ti and Dicky’s surroundings. — Jeannette Catsoulis, The New York Times

Join file before watching
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F83V3STD

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AE5B0IEA

English Sub .srt file:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N99SEG84
Jeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8353545320872997027.post-37220591079867388512009-10-16T01:14:00.001-07:002009-10-16T01:25:42.895-07:00[HK-Movie] Kung Fu Hustle (2004)

It is 1940’s China, and gangs rule the city. This movie will be the first important record of the master’s life. Ip’s persistent devotion to Wing Chun is a classic example of the love and respect shown to wushu and the freedom and spirit it represents. Ip Man is a concept, a spirit, a way of thinking – and it exemplifies a new peak in Hong Kong’s wushu movies.
Rating: PG
Genre: Action
Starring: Mallika Sherawath, Lynn Hung, Simon Yam, Donnie Yen
Directed by: Wilson Yip
This is one of the films I went against my better judgment to watch and it turned out to be surprisingly good. Despite banal reviews, I watched it with a group of friends at a midnight screening. We were kept enthralled and fixated by the intense and swift action sequences which unfold one after another. The resounding impact and forceful blows can be clearly felt by the THX equipped theatre we were in. Our eyes were glued to the screen as various martial artists in the film engaged in nerve wrecking and brutal fistfights that will leave you at the edge of your seat. The story is about the life story of the titular martial arts master and his quest to invoke unity in the people of China to stand up against oppression during the Japanese occupation. Donnie Yen does a surprisingly good portayal of Ip Man, infusing his character with wry humour and staunch dignity. However, besides him, the secondary characters fade into the background with little screen presence and narrative importance. Still, even if you are not a martial arts fan, you can enjoy this simple story about honour, humility and unity.

Movie:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RZZ6BM8Y

English subtitle

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HMX6BSH9 Jeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8353545320872997027.post-501486692830320112009-10-16T01:08:00.000-07:002009-10-16T01:25:42.896-07:00[HK-Movie] Legendary Assassin (2008)Legendary Assassin is a 2008 Hong Kong martial arts film that marks the directorial debuts of actor Wu Jing and fight choreographer Nicky Li Chung-Chi. The film is an adaptation of a novelette of the same title by Zhao Benfu that was first published in 1999. The original story is moderately different from the film adaptation. the film was first released in Shanghai, China on 5 December 2004. It clinched the 2005 Golden Horse Award for Best Screenplay Adaptation.

The film was released in Hong Kong with Cantonese dubbing provided by Andy Lau (Wang Bo), Anthony Wong (for the role of Uncle Li), and Chapman To (Sha Gen).

The plot is centered around a naïve village boy who does not believe in the existence of thieves. Returning home on board a train with his work savings of ¥60,000 in cash, he soon becomes the target of many thieves. The film explores the theme of the fundamental human goodness and also addresses humorously the issue of rampant thievery on public transport in Mainland China.
* Andy Lau as Wang Bo, a masterful thief
* Rene Liu as Wang Li, also a masterful thief, Wang Bo’s lover
* Ge You as Uncle Li,[1] leader of a small gang of thieves
* Li Bingbing as Xiao Ye, follower of Uncle Li
* Wang Baoqiang as Sha Gen, village boy returning home carrying large amount of cash irrelevant to main storyline
* You Yong as Thief Number Two, follower of Uncle Li
* Gordon Lam as Four-Eyes, follower of Uncle Li
* Zhang Hanyu as police detective
* Fu Biao as General Manager Liu, previous victim of the Wangs,

CD1

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N16MPAZA

English Sub:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VOF8XY71

CD2

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AHL0S1O7

English Sub:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0A5B4AZF
Jeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8353545320872997027.post-1176783147463646112009-10-16T01:02:00.000-07:002009-10-16T01:25:42.896-07:00[HK-Movie] Infernal Affairs (2004)A cop goes undercover as a gangster while, simultaneously, a gangster infiltrates the police force, pretending to be a cop. These two sleeper agents live underground for a decade before a series of mistakes clues in all the wrong people as to what’s going on and each mole is ordered to root out the double agent–which in both cases happens to be themselves. Torn between conflicting father figures–an avuncular, paranoid gang boss and a morally comprised police superintendent–the two moles slowly feel the net tighten like an icy hand around their necks. Juggling identies, always one mistake from a bullet in their head, and seduced by the attractions of their cover identies, both men slowly unravel, battering themselves bloody against the bars of their own personal hells, while their souls ice over.
Genres: Action/Adventure, Art/Foreign and Crime/Gangster
Running Time: 1 hr. 41 min.
Release Date: September 24th, 2004 (NY)
MPAA Rating: R for violence.
Distributors:
Miramax Films, NonStop Entertainment (NSE)

Download Full movie (DVDrip) with English subtitle:

http://www.megaupload.com/?f=0N0DN91O
Jeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8353545320872997027.post-55988733076664800092009-10-16T01:00:00.000-07:002009-10-16T01:25:42.897-07:00[HK-Movie] Sparrow (2008)Diverting from the usual crime genre, “Sparrow” goes for the musical feel. Its central characters, a band of pickpockets who comb the streets of Hong Kong, are always floating about, adjusting their hair and looking ever so likely to break into song at any moment. The jazzy score confirms the direction. The leader played by Simon Yam heads Gordon Lam, Law Wing Cheong and Kenneth Cheung, as they go about in leisure to further their criminal enterprise. However, they seem more interested in riding bicycles, eating fried rice and photographing landscapes more than anything else.
So do not be fooled this is not an action movie. By the time Kelly Lin waltzes into Simon Yam’s viewfinder, the story gets more romantic. She prances about exuding false mystery, while we get semi-sucked into a lot of background about some tycoon mobster she’s whored herself to.

Dreamy and very fleeting, “Sparrow” is a date movie for couples skipping work on a weekday. For more serious cineastes, its intended lack of depth might irk a few. It’s also strange to see so much of Kelly Lin these days. Malaysians seem to get a hold of many of her recent movies like “Mad Detective” and “Triangle”. It can be a case of miscasting because Lin’s screen persona does not measure up to the star appeal needed for some of her roles. She could pull off being the triad moll in “Boarding Gate” alongside Asia Argento but in “Sparrow”, it seems unlikely that her demure looks can get a rise out of so many men, let alone fool them into doing her bidding.

Much like her, the movie itself isn’t a head-turner. “Sparrow” makes good home cinema viewing for lazy Sunday afternoons. No conventional romance in this here heist – just some excellent photography of birds and bicycles.

Release Date: 31st July 2008
Language: Cantonese
Running Time: 90 mins

Rating: U
Genre: Action
Starring: Lam Ka Tung, Kelly Lin, KaTung Lam, Simon Yam
Directed by: Johnnie To

Movie File:

Link is DEAD

English Sub .srt file:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4QHTXLLZ
Jeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8353545320872997027.post-84733868783663876842009-10-16T00:58:00.000-07:002009-10-16T01:25:42.897-07:00[HK-Movie] Killzone (2004)

A terse, satisfying Hong Kong actioner of the old school, SPL offers a sight that will thrill genre devotees: a brutal battle between Iron Monkey’s Donnie Yen and the still-nimble Sammo Hung. Andy Lau plays a husband who only learns the importance of expressing his tremendous love for his wife when it is too late. With such an underlying message, All About Love distinguishes itself from mere melodramatic tearjerkers by leaving a profound aftertaste. Guest-starring Anthony Wong Chau Sang as a heart surgeon and veterans Hui Siu Hung and Gigi Wong as Charlene Choi’s parents, All About Love made over HK$19 million to become one of the top-grossing movies in Hong Kong!
All About Love is the first film invested by and starring Andy Lau after he set up the company Focus Film. He plays a workaholic medical practitioner Dr. Ko who neglects his wife (Charlene Choi) in spite of his love for her. After she dies in a car accident, he becomes a paramedic and sticks to a routine schedule, as a special means to remember his deceased wife. In an operation, Ko saves a woman Sam (Charlie Young) who happened to have a heart transplant – and he soon discovers that she actually bears his wife’s heart! Co-incidentally, Sam’s husband Derek, who also deserted her, looks identical to Ko. So Ko decides to take up Derek’s place to accompany his wife’s heart since he was not with her enough when she was alive.
Actor : Andy Lau , Charlie Yeung , Charlene Choi
Director : Daniel Yu
Language : Mandarin

Download Full movie (DVDrip) with English subtitle (included):

[HK-Movie] All About Love (2005)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AHDBTPHPJeremyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03333487058116744264noreply@blogger.com0
